About Ecstasy

Ecstasy, also known as MDMA, is a synthetic, psychoactive drug similiar to methamphetamine and mescaline and is used in tablet or capsule form. It is an illegal drug that acts as both a stimulant and psychdelic. It produces an energizing effect, but distorts time and perception and produces enhanced enjoyment of touch.

Ecstasy is rarely used alone and is often mixed with alcohol and marijuana. Called the "Date Rape Drug", Ecstasy lowers inhabitions and reduces the users' ability to make responsible choices. As a result, users experience higher percentages of sexually transmitted diseases and traffic accidents.
